Saundra Gail Thacker (née Sparks) passed away in the care of Hospice on Saturday October 24, 2020 following a long illness.
Saundra was born on May 24 1958 in London Kentucky and grew up in Miamisburg Ohio graduating from Miamisburg High School in 1975. Saundra loved to dance and was always the life of the party. She was the self proclaimed Tupperware queen of Ohio earning many awards as a sales consultant and spent the early part of her career working for Monarch Marking in Data Entry and the later working as a customer retention specialist with AT&T. Saundra loved to visit Disney world and over the years took along several nieces, nephews and family friends.
She is preceded in death by her late husband David Thacker, her parents Wayne and Betty Sparks, brother Boyd Sparks and niece Amy Cheatham. She is survived by her children Racheal King and Alan (Sarah) Thacker, grand children Matthew, Zachary and Madison Graham and Lela Thacker, Sister Kelly Combs of Miamisburg Ohio and sister Angela (Ray) Cheatham of Middletown Ohio and Brother Jeff (Sheri) Sparks of Springboro Ohio. Nieces Maria (Bryan) Schweers, Andrea (Chris) Schiavone and Ashley Combs and nephews Rusty (Jamie) Sparks, Robbie (Sarah) Sparks, Jason Combs, Jonathan (Bree) Combs and many great nieces and nephews and dear friends who will all greatly miss her warmth and fun loving spirit. Visitation will take place on Thursday October 29th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service on Friday at 10 am. Interment will be held at Fair Mound Cemetery, West Elkton
